Hinged belt chip conveyor

The hinged belt chip conveyor produced by Tecnoforme has been perfected to the point of making it universal, in fact it can be used to evacuate all types of chips.

The belt structure, designed and manufactured by Tecnoforme, consists of a pressed sheet metal belt joined to the two drive chains by means of pins on which individual hinges rotate.
Special angles are welded to the belt, which push the swarf along its path until it is discharged into the collection box.

Its special construction guarantees self-cleaning and self-stretching as well as the recovery of chain overloads.
As the special construction of our hinged belt also allows the evacuation of short chips (copper alloys; cast iron; etc.), considerable pre-filtering effects can be achieved thanks to specific pause/working times, allowing the formation of a chip layer on the belt itself.

The continuous development of know-how gained from experience with our customers allows our technology to be suitable for a variety of applications:

• Chip types: short and long, dusty, needle-like and heaped up;
• Different materials and alloys: aluminium, steel, cast iron, copper, brass with and without Pb (Ecobrass)
